Llangollen’s independent movie theatre: ‘The New Dot Cinema’ has announced its next two movies for February and March 2026!
The next New Dot Cinema movie will be in February, just before St David’s Day, and the New Dot Team was keen to pick a Welsh movie. So, they’ve opted for ‘The Toll’. This independent Welsh movie is a dark comedy which sees a man hiding from his criminal past by working in a tollbooth on one of the country’s quietest roads. But will his past catch up with him!?
Staying on the theme of dark satire, the March New Dot movie will be the Oscar winning, Korean language ‘Parasite’; a movie exploring the themes of capitalism and extreme wealth inequality.
